It materialized within 48 hours.

Last Friday night, I’m home with the family playing tag around the house with the kids. I happen to run past my phone and see that an “unknown” blocked number is calling. I pick up amidst the noise of indoor tag and I’m

suddenly speaking with a senior booker at Fox and Friends. “Are you available Sunday morning for a segment?”  I reply “you mean THIS Sunday?”

After a brief phone interview, he asked me to be on stand by until his senior producer could confirm that the segment was a green light. Then, I got a call back around 3:00pm on Saturday: “You’re on, 7:45am. On set, in New York.” I reply, “Excellent, I’ll see you in the morning.” But internally, I’m thinking, um, thats in 15 hours, and I’m riding bikes right now with my kids on Jekyll Island. So Thea and I mobilized and jumped on the adventure and opportunity!

After travel, trains, planes and logistics, we made it and had a blast. Best of all, it was our anniversary on June 24th – what a memorable way to celebrate! It was such a fun experience and I’m thankful to have been given the opportunity to tell a bit of my story and have the book featured on Fox and Friends.
