The fact that Jesus prayed for unity among his followers means he actually believes it is possible. And if that wasn’t enough, in Jesus’ John 17 prayer, he ties the unity of his followers with the success of our mission. The unity he was praying for was not meant for a heavenly existence after this life. No, our unity is designed to produce something that captivates the world and elevates Christ as King here and now!

Despite the division in our world, may we look with hope to the sky and see the wonders God has placed for us in through nature. The Scriptures and the Murmuration phenomena have so much so teach us – let’s go!
